In late 2023, Lauren, a born New Yorker with a passion for fashion and a knack for creativity, launched the Ellwick brand. Her journey began in the fast-paced world of fashion, where she honed her skills and developed a deep appreciation for design, textures, and trends.

After 15 years of immersing herself in the industry, she decided to combine her love for fashion and desire for experiences through scents. She constantly found herself searching for an everyday candle that not only smelled great and affordable but was also an extension of her own personal style. She found herself changing out candles when she was entertaining so as to not waste the expensive ones!  This led her to the creation of Ellwick (her husband affectionately nicknamed her L) where she drew inspiration from iconic fashion prints in order to craft luxurious candles.
